Talks

  • Julie Deserti (Paris): Cremona group and foliations
    Abstract:
The Cremona group $\mathrm{Bir}(\mathbb{P}^2_\mathbb{C})$ of birational maps of $\mathbb{P}^2_\mathbb{C}$ acts on the space $\mathbb{F}(2)$ of holomorphic foliations on the complex projective plane. Since this action is not compatible with the natural graduation of $\mathbb{F}(2)$ by the degree, its description is complicated. I will recall the description of the fixed points of the action due to Cantat and Favre. I will also speak about the problems of aberration of the degree that is pairs $(\phi,\mathcal{F}) \in \mathrm{Bir}(\mathbb{P}^2_\mathbb{C})\times\mathbb{F}(2)$ for which $\deg\phi^*\mathcal{F}<(\deg\mathcal{F}+1)\deg\phi+\deg\phi-2$, the generic degree of such pull-back. I will introduce the notion of numerical invariance ($\deg\phi^*\mathcal{F}=\deg\mathcal{F}$) and relate it in small degrees to the existence of transversal structure for the considered foliations. This is a joint work with D. Cerveau.

  • Slawomir Dinew (Krakow): Local regularity for the complex Monge-Ampère equation
    Abstract:
We shall briefly introduce the local regularity theory of the complex Monge-Ampère equation. As purely interior regularity does not hold, we shall discuss additional assumptions that are sufficient to yield smooth solutions. We shall also compare the results with the existent (and much more complete) theory in the real case.

  • Slawomir Rams (Hannover): On surfaces with many lines.
    Abstract:
We show that a quartic surface contains at most 64 lines and discuss bound on the number of lines on surfaces of other degrees. This is joint work with Matthias Schütt.
